I'm not so sure about that; a lot of the work has just been manipulating the
data and presenting it in a tractable form. But I have made some progress
towards a reconstruction of the sounds: not much is going on with initial
consonants so I think I've got them sorted, although the medial behaviour
looks somewhat more complex, and I've also started looking at vowels, which
pose a number of problems.
I'm hesitant to say anything of too much substance, since it would
inevitably be spoilerish, or at least influence the other reconstructors.
