That'd be: Vado alla biblioteca

and Sono andato alla biblioteca 'andare' (to go) is a *very* irregular verb: there are two roots (and- and vad-), which both turn out to be irregular themeselves. I think Italian verbal system has to be really hard to foreigners... especially irregular verbs : ) Luca
