As a Native French speaker, I indeed recognized some of the vocabulary (like dorman-: to sleep, ami-: to love and gros: big). But I like the twists you gave to it (like amar: friend, a nice shift in meaning :) ).

Of course not! A conlang, like any language, is an endless territory with for ever yet-to-explore places.

For what I saw, I like it. It looks really like a classical language like Latin.
