Re: technical list type question

As far as I can tell, egroups.com displays this list's messages but
doesn't really run it.  For that you have to talk to and deal with the
listserver,

LISTSERV@BROWNVM.BROWN.EDU

Send it a SIGNOFF message from the old address and a SUBSCRIBE
message from the new one.

This perplexed me for a long time when I had logged on through
egroups.com but not through the brown.edu listserver, and none of my
messages ever made it through to the list.
