Well the ethnic Chinese classify *eachother* as
"black" or "white" based on pigmintation. I was
frequently "complimented" for being so white (all the
while trying to get some reasonable tan without
burning!).
My students were quite astounded when they learned
that I concidered my shade of white to be unhealthy
and unattractive looking.
