also. In fact, the following Roman inscription was recently
discovered at Pompeii (I am not making this up):

INI MINI MAENI MO
(I didn't say *nobody* made it up, just that *I* didn't. The
evidence of HALLUR is for American, rather than English, ancestry.)
There is also that other well-known inscription on a stone column:
