It was a couple of years ago on Conlang that I asked for a good
Romano-Celtic word meaning "bat" because I didn't like my chances of
making a satisfactory-sounding word from *vesperillione. Ray suggested
skin-wing, which is found in some Celtic languages and it fitted. I have
no ideas now why I was looking for a word for 'bat'.
