ASCIIifying

I need some suggestions for some ASCIIification of one of my conlangs,
Razdiat. Classical Razdiat underwent a number of vowel changes (like umlaut
in the Germanic languages), represented by some letters in the orthography
that are a little difficult to write.

The core vowels are |a|, |e|, |i|, |o|, and |u|. Both |a| and |o| can be
e-shifted, being written as ligatures: |æ| and the o-e ligature. And |a|
can also be o-shifted, written as |a| with an |o| over it, the a-ring from
Danish.

But to make matters worse, any vowel can be marked for stress with an acute
accent, and any vowel can be velarized, marked with an underdot. There are
a few words with a-ring-acute-underdot and similar characters. In my
printed materials (thanks to some Unicode help from you guys), I'm having no
trouble writing these.

But how do I ASCIIify them? (And have them still look decent...)
