NICE! (and so appropriate to the News of the Day)
Only #22 (tomando el pelo) was familiar to me, from Span. 1 way back when.
Somewhat surprising not to see more adaptations of English expressions-- so
apparently they must still relate to the culture of La Isla. Will be
interesting to see if other Spanish speakers recognize many. (Cf. Pablo
Flores' nice list of Argentine slang, at his website-- much more "urban").
#41 (Paticas, pa' que te quiero) is reminiscent of our old pseudo-Black
(from an old movie, I think, or maybe Amos 'n' Andy), "Feets, do yo' stuff!"
(Minor quibble, mistyped? #45, "mansas" 'tame' rather than 'lame'??)
