At first I didn't knew too. Then I was told that Chinese (Mandarin) had
distinction unvoiced-aspirated.
Later I was told about the Dutch /z/, then I started taking notice.
Now I can hear the difference, but it is very difficult to hear.

I think so. Is there a difference between unvoiced and voiceless? In French we have only two words: "voisé" for voiced, and "dévoisé" for unvoiced/voiceless, so I just confused them. If there is a difference of meaning between unvoiced and voiceless, I would like to learn it, in order not to make the mistake again. Christophe Grandsire |Sela Jemufan Atlinan C.G.
