I'm not opposed to non-listmembers signing up. After all, there are a lot of conlangers who have simply worn their delete key to a bare stub of plastic and given up on the list itself, but not the vice. Right now, I'm thinking that obscurity may be good enough security (I know, I know, it doesn't work for MS, why should it work for us?) in that all advertisement of the site will be done on the list. If we do start having a problem with false postings, then I will start adding passwords for signing up (i.e., in order to add your information, you need to first email me to get past an initial password page). But hopefully it won't come to that. :Peter -- Oh what a tangled web they weave who try a new word to conceive!
