Well, not necessarily for nothing. For instance, you could sell the list to
spammers and MAKE $$$ FAST WITH YOUR COMPUTER or perhaps start marketing
herbal breast enlargements for men. (I get this spam more often than the
more, shall we say, "gender-appropriate" spam, which makes me wonder what
they know that I don't...)
Perhaps you could hang a world map in your living room with colored pins
marking where conlangers live--it could be used as a great conversation
starter: "So, what's with the map and the pins?" "Oh, that shows where all
the conlangers live!" "Conlangers? What is this you speak of?" Etc.
Or you could use it for a thesis project and draw all sorts of faulty
conclusions out of pseudo-random and poorly sampled set of data. Be creative!
