[1] I noticed some of you guys are born in 1985 and thus as
young as my stepkids.  I get a feeling that I've become old...
OTOH it forces me to reevaluate the said stepkids a bit;
after all they could be my fellow conlangers! :-)

[2] German is my mother's L1, and I understand it completely,
but I only speak it rather colloquially, and have no productive
knowledge of the preterite forms of most verbs. Can't really
write it...

[3] I added this "other" natlang category on my own initiative
but urge that it should be included in the database!  Again the
parenthesized entries mean (very) deficient proficiency.
