Is R a uvular roll as in German and French?  My best friend's first wife, an
Ilokana, said that many Philippine and Malay-Indonesian languages had that
form of 'r'.

Of course what's an 'r' to me is a 'g' or 'h' to others.  And Arabs just
call it 'ghayn'.
