Another translation challenge

Hey all,

Here is another snippet of text to translate. I posted this
on the ZBB as well, but since I did not have the English
verison available and had trouble translating it a bit,
only one person replied up to now ...


The original in German:

| Einmal wissen dieses bleibt für immer
| Ist nicht Rausch der schon die Nacht verklagt
| Ist nicht Farbenschmelz noch Kerzenschimmer
| Von dem Grau des Morgen längst verjagt

| Einmal fassen, tief im Blute fühlen
| Dies ist mein und es ist nur durch Dich
| Nicht die Stirne mehr am Fenster kühlen
| Dran ein Nebel schwer vorüber strich

English translation -- I don't know if "to sue" is the right
word for "verklagen" in the first stanza, second line.
