Re: Syllable Structure, Syllable Weight, Rhythm, Stress

One of the things I hadn't realized, when I posted my original post, was that,
in a weight-sensitive system, the system didn't have to be something
like "second mora" or "third mora" or "penultimate mora" or "antepenultimate
mora".
There's a window of one or two or three syllables from the beginning or the
end.
The stress is assigned to one of the syllables in the window, based on the
weights of the syllables in the window.
But it can be more complicated than I thought.
Also; one of the syllables to which the stress might be assigned, may have
any effect on where the stress is assigned; or, one of the syllables which has
such an effect, may not be a candidate for receiving the stress.
Is all of that true?
