Thanks so much to everyone for debunking this myth for
me. I don't remember the source of the quote I had
stumbled across, but in light of all the discussion
here, it was clearly born within the "noble savage"
concept. I still maintain my point about the
Kierkegaard passage, I just have to revise how I
support it.
