In Rihana-ye the passive is formed by adding the agent suffix -je to the noun or pronoun which performs the action, and adding the passive suffix -si to the verb. This parallels usage in Japanese. Rihana-ye: Ba tafa go. Man bird eats. (active) Tafa ba-je go-si. (passive) Bird man-by eaten-is. John Leland
