Oops, that won't work! Hus- is monovalent, so it can't take a genitive object.
As it stands, the example refers to a house which is also a dog. But
foglo teila -- "bird's tail"
will work. Meanwhile, I've been coming up with different kinds of compounds
(actually, different two-word constructions substituting for compounds).
