Very true! And as Margaret Atwood put it (IIRC):
"We thought we were running away from the grown-ups,
and now we are the grown-ups."
Anyhow, I was just kidding (note the emoticon). Actually
my kids and I agree on a suprising number of things!
They also have their differences of opinion with me, and why not?
They're people too!
ObConlang: the general reaction in my home to my saying
something about my conlanging is usually a heavenly directed
roll of the eyes, signalling something like "Oh no! Here we go again!"
Not nasty, mind you; more like just a topic they've heard a lot of
and would consequently like to talk of something else!
