FWIW, at cybalist (search for "cybalist" on yahoo groups) there's a copy of
Bird's summary of Pokorny's PIE roots, about 3000 words. It's free (if it's
still there) and what I use for Aredos words. Pokorny doesn't subscribe to
the laryngeal theory, so some roots have probably got more "modern"
reconstructions, but it does me for conlanging purposes.
