What about "diversity of nature *is* its beauty"? My, you must have a dull
and boring life, seeing things like a robot only interested in efficiency
and usefulness. Open your eyes a little, learn about the people who made
progress in this world. They are not technicians, they are not robots. They
were all artists, without exception. Descartes, Newton, Einstein (who said:
"Few are those who can see with their own eyes and hear with their own
hearts", and: "I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination.
Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited.
Imagination encircles the world". You really need to learn more about what
makes a true scientist), and so many others. All not only acknowledged but
fostered the research for beauty, the urge to create, the creative artistic
mind, and the necessity of art for humanity. When you say that you value
science and technology over art, it means that you value the body of the
car above its engine. Doing that, you'll never be an artist, but you'll
also never be a scientist. I think it's time you open your eyes and learn,
rather than pretend to know everything. The world is much vaster than you
think, and doesn't fit in your nice little boxes. It is not an insult, just
a constatation and a friendly advice.

You need a straight mind to invent a twisted conlang.
