The Verbs' Bill of Rights

1. Every verb has the right to choose its own tense.
2. Every verb has the right to choose its own aspect.
3. No verb can be used in an imperative sentence without prior consent.
4. Every verb has the right to fair and equal representation in any
lexicon.
5. Any verb may choose its own particle.
6. All verbs are created equal, but some verbs are more equal than
others.
7. No verb may be tried twice in the same clause.
8. Any verb charged with violating a grammatical law will be given a fair
and impartial trial by jury.
9. A verb wishing to change its nationality may do so without fear of
discrimination.
10. And never, but never, may any verb ever be used as a noun against its
will.
