Uatakassi has no way of saying "Would". There is a prefix us- used for
"then" as in "if/then" clauses, but the rest of the verb is identical to
how it would be used in an independent clause. As far as I can tell,
every use of "would" (except when it's a future-in-past, as in "within a
few days, he would be dead") has either an explicit or implicit "if"
clause (e.g., the above sentence "... how it would be used in an
independent clause" could be rephrased as "... how it would be used if
it were used in an independent clause")
