Re: Translation pattern of `to have'?

T wrote concerning various methods of expressing "to have"

In Druni this can be done in basically two ways:

There is the verb "lafíya" requiring the accusative case of the thing
possessed:

"Azóva lafiyári."  (We have a jewel) or:

"Azóva trevkonyári."  (We possess a jewel)

Then second basic way is with the verb "ónya" requiring the dative case of
the possessor and the nominative case of the thing possessed:

"Áz mogése onyára." (A jewel to us is)

Another more distant way of expressing this is by using the verb "shibátya"
(to belong).  This verbs requires the genitive case of the possessor:

"Tá áz móga shibatyára.  (The jewel belongs to us) Literally: The jewel of us
belongs.
