Gary, check out the Lume page that addresses linked subclauses (http://lume.pbwiki.com/Conversation%20Lesson%205). Lume eschews prepositions in favour of verbs, sometimes using the mechanism you describe (e.g. "to go to" rather than just "to go") but other times in a very different way as explained on that page. --larry
