Actually, I was thinking of Oskar Gudlaugsson, but a quick check in the
archives and he didn't seem to have taken part of this discussion about
Icelandic naming rules.

Well, if we are to trust the Icelandic guy who wrote

don't like those rules ;))) . But then, it may just be his opinion and he
tries to make it look stronger by pretending that a majority of people
share that opinion :) .

And as such deny the personal liberties of anybody else, since by
definition the personal liberty of someone different from you IS an
infrigement on your personal liberty (the freedom of someone ends where the
freedom of someone else begins. I think many so-called defenders of
personal liberties should meditate a little longer on this sentence :))) ).
