That's true, but I kinda like having it spelled out.
Besides, making the subject explicit allows me to call
a construction like "Let's go" the first person plural
of the imperative.
Also, someone in authority might command an assitant
to command an underling to do something with the third
person imperative. "He goes!" said to the assistant
while pointing at the underling.
It seems useful (or at least, interesting) to allow
the imperative other persons and numbers, and that
requires making it explicit.
