Oh? I assume you have sound sources to back that up?

Or in other words: can we really know for sure what pronunciation was
like? There are, after all, a number of different pronunciation
traditions for languages such as Latin and Greek.

And who knows: maybe what they're talking is even an accurate
reflection of *some* dialect of Latin.
