No, in fact. "Latin" is pronounced [l&tn=], with nasal plosion, whereas "Ladin" would be [l&4in] (except that I'd say [lAdin], actually). A similarly contrasting pair that are not proper names would be "mitten" (nasal plosion) vs. "midden" (flapped).
