Yes, our family was twice granted lesser noble titles if you want to say it that way; basically what it did was raise the status of the family on the social level...the fact that a small nobility had been granted was shown by fancifying the spelling of the family name when writing in Hungarian, or just switching to the "von X". -------ferko Ferenc Gy.
