can't remember any hebrew examples, but know that the
construct is the shortest form available of the root,
keeping all the consonants but eroding the vowels (
with a tendency towards the schwa and the vowel i ).
it's as if for 'my mother' i said 'mithr me' and 'my
house' i said 'hus me', whilst keeping the
non-construct forms the same.
