Instead of translating a text from someone else's conlang
into our own conlang, we translated texts from our own conlang
into somebody else's.  This required a longish lead time
while we studied our successor's conlang so we would be
able to translate into it when our turn came, and longer turns
(a week instead of 48 hours).
