Reminiscent of Indonesian's two words for "why?"-- the distinction is not
always observed, however:
kenapa, lit. affected-by what
mengapa, lit.  active-vb-pfx.  what, do-what

kenapa ia sakit? why is he sick?
also (IIRC) kenapa ia? what's the matter with him?
mengapa ia pergi ke Jakarta? why is he going to Jakarta?
