Seeking people willing to be press contacts

Howdy all.

I'm making a list of people within the conlanging community willing to
be press contacts.

From time to time, we get an email from someone in the media
interested in doing a story or researching conlangs further, and I'd
like to have an easily on-hand listing for future reference of people
I can refer to. I would also like to have it represent as wide a
sampling of our community as possible - art-, aux-, elf-, enge-, and
otherwise, several decades' experienced and newbies, academics and not
- so yes this means you.

If you're interested, please respond to this email (change the address
to conlangs@saizai.com so it doesn't go to list), and just cut, paste,
& fill in the form at the bottom of this email. It will be passed on
verbatim as appropriate.

If any of it doesn't apply to you (e.g. you don't want to be called or
emailed at all), remove those lines. Private comments (at the end)
won't get passed on - use this e.g. for letting us know when we should
or shouldn't use your info. You can be a press contact yet not want to
be interviewed on the record (or only under certain circumstances);
many will want people simply to talk to to get an idea of what the
craft is about, what interesting aspects are that would make for a
good story, etc. Of course, if you are willing to be quoted, so much
the better - and hopefully we'll see your wise words in a newspaper
someday. :)

If something comes up where you'd be a good contact for someone, I'll
send you a email heads up with their info, and give your information
to them. Then they will contact you to discuss whatever it is they're
interested in.

Hopefully we'll continue to see more stories in the media representing
us both accurately and positively (like the recent story on the front
page of the LA Times), and attract more people to the craft.

Thanks in advance & fiat lingua,
 Sai
