Funny -- in German these would probably both be the same. :-)

Anyway, Da Mätz se Basa is something like a concreole, although I
don't have any formal conhistory/conculture.  Being my first
diachronic conlang, it is not formally derived from ancester
languages, however, and is more a playground.  It needs more work for
retrofitting/adding a conhistory and fixing what is there if it
strongly contradicts the conhistory.

In short: I'm probably not of much help, but I am also interested.
