The Adena were the mound builders who preceded the Hopewell culture
of the Mississippi/Ohio Valley area. I have seen dates of about
400 AD but admit I am just beginning my research into the archaeology
of these people. I will actually just do a sketch of ur-Adena but
will then develop the 7 daughter languages over the course of the next
decade or so.
