Well, I'm nose-to-tail with trying to make Sturnan's conculture. No
sports yet.
>Do they have words and constructions relating to `real' sports?
As Sturnan is set in the Middle Ages in Europe (perhaps), there would be
no sports other than those related to war (jousting and such). But then,
aren't most sports related to war? Any club or bat or anything would be
equivalent to mace or sword or axe, or (in lacrosse) a spear.
Thinking about that one sport that's sort of golf from horseback....
ObConlang: Sturnan does have a word for "sport", but it's basically the
lords' game at hunting (etymology lost). The word for hunting (raithkei
/rajT kej/ or -/2/) as for food is related to the word for spear.
