Der Uhu is, IIRC, the German name for the eagle owl, Bubo bubo.  It
is
the archetypical owl in Senyecan: ûla, to hoot; ûlen, eagle
owl; ûlcen
(with one diminutive suffix), Scops owl (Otus scops); ûlcëlen
(with a second dim. suffix), pygmy owl (Glaucidium passerinum).
