The Nolltod (Noldor) use a shortened form of 'elf' developed
from Quenya _queen_ used as an impersonal pronoun. In Cein
this becomes _cui_ [kUj]. The unstressed form is _ce_ [tSE]
or [tS@] from Quenya _quen_. The unstressed form is obviously
much more used than _cui_.
