But that's something else. The cover does correspond to something. Though in my
thinking (and most magazines I've seen follow that trend), a SF&F magazine with
an Orc on cover would probably be a special over LotR or another fantasy novel,
while one with the Millenium Falcon would probably be a special Star Wars. At
least that's what I'm used too. I did see rare magazines where the cover
doesn't correspond to anything in particular in the contents, but they were
without exception RPG magazines. And yet not at every issue. Even the manga
related magazines I know always have a cover that highlights some parts of the
contents.
In short, I still find it strange and unusual :)) .
