Just nitpicking:
'xoclatl' is from Aztec origin, recognisable by the 'x'
(a retroflex sibilant) and the ending -tl for nouns.
The meaning is stil debated, as far as I know.
Cacao is definitely Mayan [kakaw], see the glyph on
