In a feeble and transparant attempt to generate some on-topicish discussion *g* I wanted to ask if any one knows the etymon for Sicilian macari and Sardinian marcari. I'm assuming they are related as they both gloss as also. I'm thinking of using this word in C-a but I need to find its source first. Adam
