Wow! I did ask for books in my local library when I was a child, but they were all novels :))) .

LOL. Too bad my own library didn't have anything on language (I know for sure, I browsed it from top to bottom and read probably half the books that were there :)) ). But it didn't prevent me from reading everything in the departments Science-Fiction and Fantasy, Astronomy, Parasciences, Prehistory and Ancient History (but History from after the fall of the Roman Empire never interested me...), etc... Hehe, each member of my family had a library card with possibility to borrow three book per fortnight, but I used them all for myself, allowing me to take 12 books (actually a bit more, I was so enthusiatic that the librarians were easy on me :)) ) per fortnight :)))) .
