It took me a long time to figure it out, too, but once I did it seemed
very obvious.  :-)

Take a print Q.  Start the circle part at the bottom, going clockwise,
when you make a complete circle, then, continuing with one stroke,
connect the bar.  Now, then, take this character you've just drawn, and
eliminate the left half of the circle.
