Ah. This is exactly the point of view I was looking for on this
issue. In fact, this is the way that I feel about Endra (the
world in which Doraya and Kusthu and most of my other languages are
spoken) -- it's a world by itself, without a need to be physically
connected to anything else out there. (I was actually hoping that you'd
reply to this thread, since I've seen (and admired!) your Valdyas pages
and recognized them as something I'd like to emulate.)

Indeed. Personally, I'm not an astronomer or a science fiction
writer. I can definitely understand the need for pinpoint scientific
accuracy, but taking this entire thread into consideration, I think I'll
give it a miss with Endra. :)
