My newest conlang Piata works almost exactly the same. I posted
on that about month ago. One difference is that Piata can elide
the coreferential argument in sentences as your (9) and (10).
This is done by a DIFFERENT marker, which in effect tells us
that the elided subject is not the expected (be it AGENT or
PATIENT), but the other (i.e. PAT or AGT). So in example (10)
above the verb "die" would be marked with this DIFF marker and
the NP "woman" could then be elided, even though "die" takes
PAT marking and "run" AGT marking.
I'm very interested to see what you come up with regarding
voice-operations. I haven't thought much about that in Piata
yet.
