Yep that's what my Dad told me eons ago to explain a Chinese calendar that
had both Chinese & Western calendars side by side.

When I asked why the months weren't labeled January, Feb, etc.
my Dad just said, "Why bother? _Bok Qwai_ ["White Ghost/Demon"] barbarian
names are just too bloody confusing." Then he laughed.
