I have 9 too, and it worked fine. You have to test the settings: I had to turn on Java (obviously)
and JavaScript. (on my first try, I had JavaScript turned off, and it did not
work. I should have known
that. Grrm.)
Then, you should use the MRJ 2.2.5, which is the newest Java Interpreter by Apple, and certified
by Sun. It is a 5 MB download, but works really fine. (www.apple.com/java for
more information). It is around for quite some time, so probably there is a newer version already -
but there were never any problems using MRJ 2.2.5, so it should be fine.
You can check your version of MRJ simply by looking into the folder for - well, in
German its "Apple
Extras", so something like that. There should be a folder which has something like
"Java" in it, or "Runtime
for Java" - and voila, there it is! If you can not find it, you should look onto
your Install CD where you can
find it for sure, or download it from Apple's homepage.
Then, iCab was ok but for the last step: Getting the font. So I had to repeat
everything with IE 5.0 (which
I do not use normally), and I even got the font.
Just one last thing: The website is rather slow, so sometimes I thought that my
computer gave up, but
I was wrong, it was just the connection /website /whatever. So you have to be patient, it seems.
Cheers,
Christian
