The conculture that revolves around Riuli is full of nonhumans; racial
tension is inevitable. Rather than doing color, though, in my conculture
shape holds speciesist connotations. It's insulting to call someone from
the Empire of Tears (a sort of loosely organized governent of seagoing
creatures; mostly tall, thin, pixielike beings) a 'stumpy old block', as
that implies sympathies with the highly unpopular Empire of Statues (which
is composed of a people who live in excavated tunnels underground - they've
become very short in the passage of time.). Humans come in every shape,
size, and color, so they've become hard to offend, and often highly
offensive to the Others.
